The Township of West Caldwell is soliciting proposals through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.4 et seq.
The Applicant will designate a specific individual(s) to work with the Township of West Caldwell and provide resumes for both the individual and Principals of the Business Entity.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Sealed RFP responses will be received by the Township Administrator on December 5, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. local prevailing time in the Administrator’s office at the Municipal Building, 30 Clinton Road, West Caldwell, NJ 07006, at which time and place responses will be opened for:

PROFESSIONAL PLANNING SERVICES 2026
• Township Planner
• Board of Adjustment Planner
• Planning Board Planner

Proposals must be submitted as one (1) original, clearly marked as “original” on the proposal forms contained in the RFP package and one (1) complete copy in an electronic format (CD/DVD/USB).

Proposals must be in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project. This information must be on the outside of the envelope and addressed to Nikole H. Baltycki, Township Administrator. In the following format:

RFP Title:
PLANNER FOR TOWNSHIP, PLANNING BOARD AND BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR 2026

If the proposal is sent by overnight or express mail, the above designation SHALL also appear on the outside of the courier company envelope.

Any proposal received not complying with these requirements SHALL not be opened and returned to sender marked “Unresponsive”.

Qualification documents and instructions to applicants may be obtained via the Township Website: www.westcaldwell.com. It is the bidder’s responsibility to check the website regularly for possible addenda.

Applicants shall comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C127, and N.J.A.C. 17:27et seq.
