Tom Chapin Rounds Out Gazebo Concert Season
(8/28/03)

Again, perfect weather got the crowd out to hear the country music of Tom Chapin and his friends. Tom Chapin has a number of recordings on the market including two that were Grammy Winners and three that were Grammy Nominees.

The early part of the concert emphasized "family" songs played for the benefit of the younger generation. We heard all about the Didjeridoo (a six foot long Australian musical instrument made from eucalyptus bamboo - or least that is how the the song goes). Later we had a great time singing along with more adult oriented music.

Tonight the concert was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Caldwell. Food was supplied by Jack's IGA. Proceeds from the food sale will be donated to Rotary Club Charities.

This concert completes our Gazebo Concert Series for 2003. We hope you enjoyed our eight concerts and we invite you to join us again next year.
