The weather didn't cooperate and the Gazebo concert had to be moved indoors. However, the Party Dolls did well in the rain date location, a packed auditorium at the James Caldwell High School. Their theme was "A Tribute to Girl Groups & Women in Rock". The sponsor for this evening's event was Panera Bread of West Caldwell and West Orange.
The Party Dolls sang many familiar songs as well as a few not so familiar songs. They interacted well with the audience with such things as sing-alongs and candy distribution to the younger crowd hugging the edge of the stage.
Did you miss the show? The Party Dolls have their own website at www.partydolls.com . There you can get biographical information as well as audio clips of a number of their more popular songs.
